Every Luxix template is sold under one of three licence tiers. Each tier grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the template files as described below. Luxix retains full copyright and intellectual property ownership of all templates.
The Solo licence permits use on one website for personal, non-commercial projects only. You may not use a Solo-licensed template for client work, commercial websites, or any project generating revenue. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the template files.
Example use cases: a personal portfolio site, a hobby project, a non-profit landing page.
The Studio licence permits use on unlimited websites for your own projects, including commercial use and client work. You may build websites for paying clients using the template. You may not redistribute the template files themselves to clients or third parties — the licence covers the end product (the website), not the source files.
Example use cases: a freelancer building client websites, a small agency delivering sites to businesses, your own commercial website.
The Unlimited licence permits use on unlimited websites with the broadest possible scope. This includes all rights granted by the Studio licence, plus the right to include the template as part of a deliverable sold to end clients, and the right to use the template in products or services that are themselves resold.
Example use cases: an agency building and reselling websites at scale, a SaaS product that bundles a Luxix template, a large organisation deploying across multiple properties.
You can upgrade from Solo to Studio, or from Studio to Unlimited, at any time. Contact hello@luxix.co with your original purchase reference and you will only pay the difference between your current tier and the new one.
